Line-up

The band's third album, Turn Back, marked the return to the traditional sextet style of the previous albums. It was a more ferocious, consistent effort with an edge that was stronger than Hydra. The more edgier sound of Turn Back reflected the development of the group. The drummer Bobby Kimball's increasing ability to play was evident in the vocals of Joseph Williams, who had become more confident and mature.
