This bagless auto-vacuums wifi-connected robot has a minimalist, black design. Its price is in line with other top-of-the-line smart robotic vacuums for home use.

It can be controlled using the physical Clean and Dock buttons on the top, via the SharkClean app, or via voice commands using Alexa and Google Assistant. It has a range of smart features, including home mapping and virtual no-go zones.

Matrix Clean

The most popular vacuum cleaner in America (based on NPD Group/Retail Tracking Services data). Matrix Clean features incredible suction power, Matrix & Precision Home Mapping, and an auto-emptying base.

SharkClean is an app you can download to your smartphone to map out your rooms. After mapping, the app lets you set up a schedule for your robot to keep your home tidy or select rooms to let the Matrix start an automatic cleaning session. You can also designate "no-go" zones, such as closets or beds, that you do not want Matrix access to.

The app also lets you use the "spot" cleaning on demand function where you can choose a dirty area on your floor map, and the robot will automatically move over that area with multiple swipes of its cleaning pad. It is able to pick up everything, from dog hair tumbleweeds and tiny pieces of paper left over from an upcoming craft project.

When the Matrix finishes it's cleaning job the Matrix will return to its dock and empty itself into the included bin. This is a great feature as it eliminates the requirement to do maintenance.

This robot's LIDAR mapping sensor is located right on top. This could prevent it from being able to climb under furniture that is low like tables and sofas. This is a great choice in case you don't mind that it's slightly larger than other robots. Also, keep in mind that this model doesn't come with an HEPA filter like some of the other models on this list.

The RV2502AE is an excellent mid-range robot cleaner that can tick all of the boxes. It's user-friendly, produces accurate home maps and comes with an empty bag that self-empties. It's also less expensive to run than other robot vacuums.

It also has plenty of power, scooping up debris using its suction opening and relying on its side brushes to push hair and carpet threads into the path of the brushroll. This helps prevent the accumulation and blockage of the brushroll as seen on other robotic vacuums and makes this one more effective at picking up pet hair.

This robot features a powerful suction as well as a self-emptying base. It also has a high-efficiency HEPA filtration system that captures 99% allergens and dust mites. It also comes with two power modes to suit different kinds of floors, and a remote that allows users to access all its functions. It's also compatible with voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant which allows you to initiate cleaning tasks without having to touch the robot.

It's a great choice for homes with a lot of space, but its navigation capabilities could be problematic for some. This bump bot had trouble with stairs. Other bump bots are able to avoid them, but this one couldn't. It used Infrared sensors and LiDAR to map the home however, it was constantly mistaking my cat condo for stairs and asked me to move it out of the way.
