How a Jaguar Smart Key Works

Jaguar smart key enables you to lock and unlock the vehicle from a distance. Like all electronic devices, it's powered by batteries.

If your Smart Key battery is beginning to go out of date, your car may indicate this by a decrease in the effective range of its signals. The message center may also display an alert "SMART-KEY BATTERY FAILS".

Keyless Entry
